Our Sportsbook.ag Review for 2019

Sportsbook.ag was launched in 1996 by Patrick Callahan as a site by the name of PlayersOnly.com that focused only on bookmaking. In 1998, Callahan was the very first bar owner using a bookmaking business to take credit cards. The early history of this website is much more or less classified at the hands of the owners. By late 1998, the site became Sportsbook.com and has been transformed to Sportsbook.ag from 2006 to reduce seizure following the US enactment of this Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act.
The sportsbook has been recognized by the likes of Yahoo Sports and ESPN. Finally, a poker room and small online casino were added to the mixture. Sportsbook.com was briefly traded on the London Stock Exchange from 2001 to 2006. The business has thrived through the last few years and is promised to be one of the biggest sportsbooks and online casinos accessible to US-players. With countless bonuses and promotions on the sportsbook and poker stage, and advanced slot games powered by BetSoft, we had to provide this site a try.
Who’s Sportsbook.ag? Just how long have they been in business?
Sportsbook.ag does not share much information on their site. Most of everything I heard about these came from other review sites and forums.
Let us start with what I could find on their site, then cover the stuff I discovered elsewhere.
In the footer of the website it says the website is owned by Domain Names Limited. I did a quick Google search and there’s little information out there about this corporation. I did find that other sites owned by Domain (at one point, anyhow ) such as PlayersOnly, Carbon Casino, LinesMaker, Go Horse Betting and BetUSA.
Additionally, I found an older article (in 2008) that mentioned them changing their name from Jassy Sports Events LTD to Domain Names Restricted.
This was as far as I got with all the info on their website.
Elsewhere on the net — I discovered that Sportsbook.ag has been in business since 1996 — so over 20 decades now. That says a lot about a gambling site. Usually fantastic things.
