Brighton fans facing bans for racism at Tottenham games

Extended bans will be handed out by brighton to three supporters after incidents of racism at the Amex Stadium.
Two fans had been ejected from the stadium at an match against Tottenham and also had their details offered to Sussex Police for investigation.
Another individual was removed and arrested during Saturdays Premier League fixture against the identical side. Both events were reported with additional Albion fans.
A statement on the clubs site read:Three Brighton and Hove Albion fans are facing prolonged bans and potential criminal charges, following two different incidents of racism throughout recent games at the Amex.
Brighton chief executive and deputy chairman Paul Barber said:It is very Difficult to understand why some individuals think its okay to behave This Way, however we are very clear that neither Brighton and Hove Albion, nor the wider
Soccer community, will endure racism or discrimination in any form, at any time.
It is extremely encouraging that in both incidents our stewards were alerted to this totally unacceptable behaviour by other Albion enthusiasts and, working with Sussex Police, our staff were able to take swift action, which will raise the chances of a certainty.
We do not want individuals exhibiting any kind of discriminatory or anti-social behavior inside our arena, and Id like to thank those Albion fans for reporting the events to us when they heard it.
We would recommend any fans confronted with comparable discriminatory behaviour to report it immediately, either directly into a steward or through our anonymous hotline, and we will take strong actions .
