Heather Watson continued her impressive form this week by storming in the Tianjin Open with a victory over Veronika Kudermetova.
The British No 2 revealed no signs of nerves in her first WTA Tour semi-final in more than a calendar year, winning 6-1 6-4 in 1 hour and 14 minutes.
After the Swede beat Ons Jabeur having pulled off victories over Magda Linette and second seed Wang Qiang Watson will face Rebecca Peterson in the closing.
Second week, the 27-year-old, that will return to the top 100, had just to find Linette in the last eight on Friday.
As she hurried through the first set breaking as Kudermetova fought with her own serve but there wasnt any fatigue on display.
Watson moved in the second place and, she got the work done to accomplish her fourth career WTA final, despite seeing two game points go begging.
