Photographer Pat Healy has been taken to hospital after a nasty incident following the line in the opening race in Navan.
Thatsy and Entoucas fought out a thrilling conclusion on the www.navanracecourse.ie Maiden Hurdle, together with the pair coming near with all the run to the line after negotiating the last hurdle.
While Thatsy edged to acquire, Entoucas appeared to crash through the railing that was inner after the article – colliding together with the photographer.
He was tended to by team – and while he was reported to be conscious, he had been taken by ambulance for further evaluation, causing a delay into the followingMonksfield Novice Hurdle.
The physician on duty in the track, Frank Kenny, stated:He left the course very secure and has injuries to the right side of his chest.
Entoucas and rider Mark Walsh escaped serious injury, with the jockey reporting his mount had dived in the gap in the rail only after the line.
