Harry Kane is an ‘incredible example’ to England’s young players, says Gareth Southgate

Gareth Southgate described Harry Kane as an”incredible example” into England’s young gamers after his hat-trick motivated them into a 4-0 win over Bulgaria.
The scoring started in the cut-back in the first half of Raheem Sterling at Wembley before netting two second-half penalties since England continued their best start to Euro 2020 qualifying.
He was taken by the Spurs striker’s hat-trick in 40 appearances for England 25, bringing praise from his supervisor, who hailed work-rate and Kane’s professionalism in his media conference and placing him.
“We stood and saw him accept penalties for around 20 minutes yesterday and once you watch the procedure that he goes , he just gives himself every prospect of success by that deliberate exercise,” said Southgate.
“To get a youngster to have the ability to watch what he does, being able study him and watch his professionalism and how he works in his game, it is an extraordinary example.
“If you are able to be confident about the bench when a penalty is provided, then we are as confident as we perhaps could be.
“You know that there’s always a possibility that even the very outstanding [penalty] can be spared, but in those moments he actually has a supreme temperament and procedure.”
Kane also had a hand in the third target of England, intercepting a Bulgaria pass and supplying the cross for Sterling to convert from close range.
“He works really hard for the team and will be more than delighted to fall in to regions to leave room for other people and perform passes to others,” additional Southgate.
“But when he gets his second, then he just has an outstanding mindset and, technically, he’s a top, high finisher.
“However, I return to the very reality that is hours and hours of training and if you talk to a number of the other forward in the squad, they’d speak with you about just how big an impression that has had on them and how they practice if they return to their clubs.
“Because sometimes it is possible to take part in finishing practices which may be a tiny bit half-hearted or not as concentrated as they could be, but he is on it every single time. That’s where you get the move into the match.”
Asked how it felt to overtake Hurst from the scoring charts, Kane stated:”Whenever stuff like that happens it is almost always a proud moment for me personally and it shows the hard work I’m putting in is paying off.
“Hopefully I can keep scoring goals for several years to come. Whenever I put an England shirt on it’s always to try and score and help it functioned well for me.
“When I am playing with gamers such as Raz (Raheem Sterling) and (Marcus) Rashford, they are going to create numerous opportunities, they’re so great in one-v-ones, they will win penalties, so I’ve got to create sure I’m ready for the opportunities that come my way”
One of the young players Southgate hopes the influence of Kane will rub off on is 20-year-old Mason Mount, that came from the bench for his England debut.
“it is a dream to make your England introduction, you wait for quite a while for this time,” he explained. “You dream about this happening. It’s a slim likelihood it occurs, but it is always a joyful time for my family and me personally. It happened so fast, it is just like a blur!
“I was not overly nervous. I was more excited to put on the pitch. I adored every second of it. It’s been a couple of months, it’s happened so quickly to this instant, but I have loved every minute. I am enjoying learning every day, learning much from your seniors.”
