Ryan Kent asserts he was lied to this summer, before being eventually permitted to move to Rangers.
Even the 22-year-old rejoined on the last day of the transfer window at a deal understood to be worth around #7.5m.
Rangers had previously failed to convince following the winger made a major impression at Ibrox final 24, a 2nd season-long loan to be sanctioned by Liverpool.
Following his global team-mates returned in an extended break, kent featured for Liverpool in pre-season but found himself.
He admitted before Rangers stopped the move, it had been a tough period.
“It was quite rough,” he explained. “I needed to stay emotionally strong, when you are educated you can do something and after that you are lied to and it doesn’t occur, that’s rather difficult to take.
“I simply had to keep myself healthy and educate on my own and also make sure I maintain my fitness level up and that I was waiting for a minute like that to arrive.
“There’s no bitter taste, the thing which I wanted from the start happened in the ending so that I am just satisfied with that.
“I would have liked to have been from the start, it’s quite difficult watching it on the TV wanting I was part of some of the games but I am delighted to be back and that I can’t wait to begin.
“There were some small concerns along the way when I believed this might not happen and that I might have to plan for something else, but I’d had a feeling that it may visit the last day of the window and that is what happened.”
Kent came through Liverpool’s academy and had loan spells at Coventry City, Barnsley, Freiburg and Bristol Rovers however he states Rangers is your very first club.
“I’m in a privileged place in daily life to be playing football, it’s every kid’s fantasy,” Kent said. “And I think that it’s naive to not appreciate that position in life. I am blessed to be in that position in life.
“For once in my entire life to be feeling in your home somewhere, to be really enjoying my football, I would like that atmosphere for the remainder of my profession. I felt that for the first time once I arrived here.
“The supervisor believes in me along with the coaching staff. He made the very best out of me and mick Beale needed me as a kid at Liverpool and I started to flourish as a child coming at Liverpool, and the fans get the best out of you.
“So just every thing as a collective at this club I believe gets the very best out of me and my soccer.”
